April 2002 – The dream comes true…
|

Marilyn still graces the halls of the Ingy’s basement. |
Unfortunately the management at the Ingraham changed while this project was on hold. The mural was never totally completed much to the artists’ dismay. This pro-bono project involved over two hundred hours of the artists’ time and creativity. Before the artists were ever properly compensated for this job, or were able to negotiate a contract for completion, the whole mural was painted over. The only evidence of the mural is the mosaic work that was glued to the brick wall – good luck removing that ;-) |
| The fire-hose is still nicely framed, although not very noticeable on the white wall. |

So once again the halls in the Ingy basement are white with blue doors. Like the mural never even happened. And that is the story of the ghost mural. |
